Arties is a delightful two-storey holiday cottage set back from the road on 3 acres, providing relaxing self contained accommodation at the gateway to the Tarkine and Arthur Pieman Conservation Area. Three bedrooms sleep up to 6 guests.

Within the cottage you will find a full kitchen including dishwasher, laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer, games room and barbeque facilities. Arties is the perfect base for the observation of abundant native wildlife, rainforest walks and off road 4 wheel drive expeditions. Other local activities include fishing (rock, surf, river, estuary), canoeing, surfing, wind surfing, wave sailing, Arthur River Cruises, Kings Run Wildlife Tours, a visit to the Mount Cameron aboriginal area and Tarkine Forest Adventures.

Arties is also just a few minutes from the Marrawah General Store and Marrawah Hotel.

Arties Cottage Accommodation is located at Marrawah which is a peaceful farming area on the rugged Far North West Coast of Tasmania. The town is known for its awesome surfing, breath-taking Southern Ocean beaches, amazing coastal walks, good fishing and opportunities to find highly-prized abalone shellfish on the rocks. River cruises and canoeing are available at the mouth of the Arthur River just a short drive away.

Marrawah Beach House

The main bedroom has a hand crafted timber queen bed with sea views and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a kitchen, dining and living area with DVD/CD player, bathroom, laundry facilities, verandah and BBQ. The Marrawah Beach House provides the idyllic destination to escape to for a romantic break or family holiday. Enjoy a comfortable base to explore the wilderness of the nearby Tarkine and Arthur River areas. There are two general stores nearby which sell basic items, fuel and hot takeaway food and the local hotel serves meals seven days a week.

The Marrawah Beach House is located fifty minutes drive from Smithton, one and a half hours drive from Burnie Airport and two and a half hours drive from Devonport Ferry terminal.
