Whether it be first class Wagyu beef or crayfish and abalone plucked from the cleanest waters on earth you will be able to find food to meet the demands of the most discerning palettes. Not only does the region boast the best produce but we also have some fantastic restaurants and eateries that really do the produce justice.

The Nut View Restaurant features local produce and good friendly service.

Nut View Restaurant is located at Stanley Seaview Inn and has views over Stanley, the Nut and surrounding beaches. The Nut View Restaurant offers a casual dining experience and features a wide selection of local seafood and a variety of other cuisine. House specialties are the double roasted duck and the local seafood platter. The farmed Cape Grim export quality grass fed scotch fillet steak and abalone, another local delicacy are also the highlights of the menu.

You can also choose from a wide range of Tasmanian beers, wines and spirits.

The award winning Stanley Hotel Bistro offers the areas best steaks and fresh seafood. All produce on the menu is from our region. At the Stanley Hotel you'll find a cold beer, a warm welcome and great food.

Our region, the North West Coast, produces some of Tasmania's most renowned produce. In season try the fresh Lobster (crayfish), scallops, crisp battered fish 'n' chips, great local oysters, juicy tender grass fed beef and natural chicken.

Everyone knows the best potatoes come from North West Tassie. We use only the best to make crisp chips and creamy mash.

Join us for lunch or dinner which is served every day in our welcoming bistro or on our sunny deck.

Our historic bluestone cellar is the oldest on the North West Coast, built in the early 1840's and still holds wines at optimum temperatures. You are free to browse our extensive range of Tasmanian and mainland wines, premium Tasmanian beer and a great range of spirits.

On our bistro menu we have selected from the cellar a great range of wines for you to enjoy on the premises. Our trained staff will be happy to help with your selection.

Tall Timbers has a variety of options for a unique dining experience, somewhere to launch a new product, host an informal meeting, launch a campaign or just shar a drink with friends. Our property is located in Tasmania's North West at Smithton, close to the famous Nut at Stanley.

The AHA award winning Tall Timbers Kauri Bistro was named after the Kauri Timber Company. Our menu is changed twice each year, each time featuring dishes that celebrate the outstanding fresh produce of Tasmania. Tall Timbers team of chefs and apprentices to create our award-winning dishes. Seats 150 guests.

Breakfast is not limited to in house guests, if you are passing by or live locally, why not think Tall Timbers when you are thinking about breakfast? A full buffet breakfast is only $18, and bookings are essential.
