This would include folk, blues, country, rock, pop, jazz and song writers. We will be running a composition workshop and talk as well as the concert and subsequent informal discussion. The composition workshop is open to attendees who wish to participate but also those who would just like to observe. It will involve a presentation of some compositional methods and concepts with demonstration of key principles. Some of the pieces that will be performed in the evening concert will be discussed and expanded upon. The concert is, of course, open to anyone.
